Maxim Photo Studio doesn’t utilize a cookie cutter approach for our weddings where we try to fit our couples into a specific mold. We think “outside the box” to present a unique lighting approach coupled with composition and location elements to make each image unique. We work with our couples to define the particular style and types of images you favor.

We use a 2 person approach for all of our wedding photography. This includes 2 lead photographers and not just understudies. This allows us to be in multiple locations on the wedding day and provide a better coverage.

We provide one of the quickest turnarounds in the industry with your wedding day images being also available within 14 days after the wedding.

My 2nd photographers are lead photographers (not assistants or interns) with years of experience and 100’s of weddings captured. The second photographer consideration is just as important as selecting your first photographer since 2nd photographer needs to be able to capture your vision and style consistent with the overall wedding day.

Wedding pictures are processed and finished within 2 weeks of the wedding day.

Portrait and engagement images are completed within 1-2 weeks of the session.

Each client is given individualized attention and every image is processed, edited and delivered personally by Max.

I always carry 2 cameras with me. My 2nd photographers also have 2 camera bodies. We also carry multiple flashes, lenses and photography accessories. You’ll never know what gear you’ll need on any particular day. Here is a list of my latest gear: Wedding Gear

I want to make sure that I photograph you at the awesome locations which you select on your special day. If we are not able to do so due to inclement weather then I am happy to schedule a reshoot for you at a later time to make sure that I capture your vision.

In short, nothing will change if I am sick on your wedding day. I’ve shot weddings days before knee surgery, while suffering from the effects of flu (twice) and various other major and minor maladies. Since you can’t recreate the first kiss I don’t make excuses for not being there in person. As of last year, that is 600+ weddings and counting.

I photograph wherever my clients’ vision takes me. Most of my weddings are based in the Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus Ohio areas since that’s where I live. I love destination shoots having photographed in Cancun, Cabo, Santa Monica, Lake Tahoe, Chicago, Miami, New York and Washington DC.

Yes I do. Every final image goes through our quality control to make sure that is captured cohesively with our style and with other images from the day. I edit everything myself and don’t allow any one else to batch process the images or vary from my established style and vision. All of the images will be presented in color and B&W and I’ll also highlight my favorite images for you.
